BIO of the band

The Cinelli Brothers is a project born out of a common passion for the electric Blues and Soul from the 60s and 70s, when brothers Marco and Alessandro decided to form an explosive team showcasing original repertoire.

Joining the two brothers on stage, Tom Julian-Jones on harmonica, guitar and vocals, and Jorma on bass, guitar and vocals.

Their debut album ‘Babe Please Set Your Alarm’ was recorded at the Soup Studio in London and the full live and analogue recording was released in May 2018.
The record reached number 2 in the IBBA (Independent Blues Broadcasters Association) in June 2018.

The 2nd album ‘Villa Jukejoint’ was released in Dec 2021 in conjunction with a Sold Out show at the 100 Club in London.
Recorded at home with only 1 microphone, the mono record has a unique vintage and retro feel typical of the 50s and early 60s and it reached number 1 in the IBBA charts.

The 3rd album ‘No Country for Bluesman’ was released on May 27th 2022, and it features some Blues royalties from the UK scene, such as Ian Siegal, Dana Gillespie, Zac Schulze, Alice Armstrong and many more. 

In September 2022 the band won the UK Blues Challenge.
In January 2023 the band ranked #2 at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, US
In April 2024 the band won Best Band Award at the UK Blues Federation Awards.

The latest album ‘Almost Exactly’ was released in January 2024 with a release party at The Cutting Room, NYC.
It reached #1 in the IBBA charts, and was the #2 most played album of 2024.

The band tour extensively and headline festivals in the UK, Europe and USA, citing their live shows as the pure ‘Cinelli’ experience.
They have amassed an international community of dedicated fans and superfans who travel extensively to attend their live shows.
2025 has seen the release of new singles, including ‘Dark Side of the Road’, and ‘Unsingable Song’ which reached #10 in Music Week Club commercial pop chart.

They continue to blend their love of Blues, Soul, R&B with a modern approach and focus, constantly drawing new audiences to their unique sound and electric performances.
