Jamming with the Legends

This is a great way to stay entertained while we wait that the world decides to flush out the virus and get back to normality.

Basically we took the only existing video of Jimi Hendrix, performing on television Hear My Train a Comin’ and we backed him up. Marco on guitar (what an honor), Nanni on drums, Enzo on electric bass and JJ on harp (the very low F harp). We also dressed up more or less accordingly, but I think you’ll get the 60s vibe anyway.

The most difficult part was to try to wobble with Jimi with the tempo. Although we could have stretched the song and quantized the file in time, nobody dared to touch a millisecond of the performance of the Master.

That remains one of the most electrifying (pardon the oxymoron) acoustic version ever recorded. Generations of musicians have drooled after it and still do we, in the long run.

If you believe we ruined such a masterpiece please leave a comment by clicking the below button. It’s nice to keep in touch after all.

By the way, this belongs to a series of videos of the same kind, but with a different Legend each time.
Have you seen the one with Son House yet? That’s smokin’!

In the meantime keep the faith high and do let us know if you want us to jam with a particular Legend you have in mind.
