The Bros win the challenge and will represent UK in major international Blues Competitions.
The Blues Quartet will participate to the International Blues Challenge in Poland, June 2023 and the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Jan 2023 by winning the UK BC in Weston-Super-Mere on Saturday 17 of SEPTEMBER 2022.
We were extremely delighted to triumph on 17 September at the prestigious UK Blues Challenge! There were 5 talented bands in the final, competing to go onto greater things in the official Blues competitions and to be known to larger audiences, promoters and agents of this genre. It is the Blues version of the European Song Contest!
This means that in January 2023 we go forward to the International Blues Challenge in the iconic city of Memphis, Tennessee, which needs no introduction to lovers of Blues and Rock music throughout the world. Then in June we will be at the prestigious European Blues Challenge in Chorzów, Poland, where the cream of emerging Euro Blues bands of the year will perform. It is equivalent in Blues music terms to the European Song Contest!
By beating the other 4 contestants last Saturday, the Cinelli Brothers have been recognised as a major force in UK Blues music, and are proud to represent the country in Blues music. Pretty cool for two Italians, a Frenchman and only one British subject who was born and bred in South London!
The competition last Saturday was fierce. Brave Rival, True Strays, Alice Armstong and the Big Wolf Band… all formidable musicians and performers. This ensured that the UK final was a quality event. Spokesman Richard Dunning started the Awards Ceremony by saying it was a very hard task to declare the eventual winner. All the contestants received great support and applause and the overall standard was extremely high.

After our victory on Saturday which we announced on Facebook, we received a wave of praise and congratulations from fans, friends, and family. Over the years with our frequent touring schedule and production of albums, we are humbled to have the great support of many fans who have supported us devotedly, and this has spurred us on to greater things like the victory last Saturday.
Memphis...here we come!!
